good value for the $
Jun 20, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: 8mp, easy to use, light weight, fast response, function
Cons: focus
Opinion:
a little bit poor photo quality, but overall performance is fine although need to manually key in if u wan the photo showing date n time on it, but for such low price camera, its consider ok.its fun to use the continuously shooting for panoramic scene, only the focus need to b improve...
super Compact camera
Mar 25, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: iA , Start up time is very quick
Cons: Can improve on the design n colour selection
Opinion:
I personally like the high speed burst.
Shot 20 pictures in less than 5 second!
The start up time is super quick compare to my sis T300 cybershot.
Compare to my sis cybershot, the image quality of FS3 is way much more better.
The pricing is also good at SGD 379.
For those who wants to buy a lower end or cheap camera, this is the best one for you.
- iA
- Mega OIS (optical Image Stabliser)
- 33mm Wide angle
- High Speed Burst Mode (20shots @
Value for money and technology
Mar 25, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Good reasonable pricing
Cons: AF a lil slow
Opinion:
For me, this is the well made camera. Lets put aside the design.
Its the only lower end camera with Mega OIS. And also i found out that all the camera at its price range uses DIS which is not a very good thing to produce a sharp image quality.
User friendliness is amazing and straight forward.
This amazing iA works well. Changes from MAcro mode to Portrait mode in no time.
The BEST THING is that it really detects 15 faces (Proven!)
Good Value for money camera
Mar 25, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Mega Optical Image Stabliser and Leica Standard Lens
Cons: A little Bit Slow in AF and iA detection
Opinion:
This is so far the best value for money camera at SGD399.
At this price, u cannot get a digital camera with OIS, Leica Lens, 33mm Wide angle and iA.
The picture quality is amazing and the print outs is sharp and well balanced color.
Its macro shots is perfectly sharp.
The most important thing is that it is very easy to use (super-user-friendly)
So far it is the best value for money digital camera.
Not one that I personally like.
Mar 18, 2008Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: None
Cons: The design just doesn't seems right and just an ordinary camera where one can get more from other brands
Opinion:
I am writing my views and opinion on this Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3 following my recent of it when I was in a camera shop. The first thing that struck me was that the vertical thin protruding fingers grip strip seems like an 'after thought add-on' and does not harmonies with the overall look of the camera. It does not have that sturdiness that I am usually acclimatized with Panasonic compact cameras.
The partially hidden circular dial for mode selection is rather impractical in that dirt, etc, is easily trapped inside the gaps and would be impossible to remove or clean. Even though it is an inexpensive shooter for casual shots, such details could not have been overlooked.
This Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3 is drastically different with my 10X Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 28mm to 280mm angle digital camera. The moment I felt the latter, I told myself that ‘this is what I want’ as it has ... Read more
