Average camera but cannot compare with it's bigger brothers DMC-TZ3 & DMC-TZ2
Jan 28, 2008Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Uses AA battery (specs did not mention whether normal, lithium or rechargeable
Cons: Though I have not felt the camera, but visually, the outlook doesn't give a comfortable feel
Opinion:
The position of the small dot between the main lens and the right finger grip for is too near to the right finger grip. If it's a re-eye detector, it's will be blocked by the right fingers. The fixed flash ought to be away from the main lens instead of directly above the latter. This will result in the subject being over-exposed.
The flash and the small lens ought to have follow the DMC-TZ3 & DMC-TZ2 positioning.
For S$299.00, I would rather go for other brands within the same price range that overcome the issues that I raised above.
I wish to clarify that these are my personal opinion as I myself is using a Panasonic DMC-TZ2 which I love it very much. So it shows that I am not being biased but giving my frank opinion.
