Jul 7, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: quality, fast shooting, good pictures, handy
Cons: pic problems in less lights, just like a lot digicams

Jul 10, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Slim, Light, Beautiful Design
Cons: Weak Battery Life, Menu system gets confusing
Opinion:
Pictures are great in day light
Indoor pictures in dim situations produce a lot of graininess.
It does the job as a backup camera for quick snapshots.
Easily fits in my "Tourist" pouch.
Smile detection requires I smile with all my teeth showing. A Mona Lisa Smile doesn't always get it to shoot.
Menu system is easy and organized. Presets gets the job done quickly.
Try to avoid viewing pictures before your trip ends, you'll end up running out of batteries.
If you want an all-day trip, it would be safe to have a total of 3 batteries.
This one is lighter that the 3 inch touch screen model and less expensive.
A good choice for your first digicam
Mar 26, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Beautiful design, ease of use, small and light, big touchscreen, value for money
Cons: Photo quality not quite up to expectations, batt life
Opinion:
The best thing about the T70 is that its very easy to operate. You do not need an instruction manual to get you through most of the functions. The design is superb as the touchscreen replaces a lot of buttons. The screen is also larger than the Sony T20, a similar model to the T70, due to the lack of buttons. The smile shutter function is something that will definitely get a lot of attention during parties. Its not an important feature but it will generate a lot of buzz.
However, the picture quality does feel somewhat disappointing at times. Night shots are poor and the steady shot doesn't work well. Battery life isn't very good if you do a lot of editing of your pics on the camera (yes you can do some simple stuff much like what you can do on those neo-print machines) and also due to the use of the touchscreen as a method of input. ... Worst sony series
Mar 19, 2008Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: slim design, cool touch screen
Cons: poor picture in dim environment
Opinion:
This is the worst camera i even buy.Forget about T-series.Poor picture in dim environment.Lots noise.I wonder how Sony can sell this poor quality camera to consumer.Do not fool by the hip design. If u want a good camera, and insist of Sony, then go for W-series or others.Sony customer service will not resposible for poor picture, even they admit T-series is just a "basic" camera.
Great take-anywhere Camera!
Dec 12, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: small profile, face detection and steadyshot technology, non-extending lens, fast shooter.
Cons: Photos suffer in low light, touchscreen sometimes fail to respond.
Opinion:
I love taking this camera with me everyday. It's slim and fits into my pants pocket, so that means I never miss a shot because the camera is always with me. it has very little shutter lag in good lighting, but becomes progressively slower in lower lighting. The photos can be brillant especially in bright lighting conditions, but the quality suffers in less than stellar lighting. The camera has the tendency to fire the flash even in good light, but luckily you can override this.
The touchscreen is a great technology, but is more of a gimmick when it doesn't work properly. Many times, I press a "button" and the camera doesn't respond. Also, some of the buttons needs to be touched not right smack where the button is but somewhere to it's upper right, which took me a while to figure out.
Overall, a great camera that you can take with ... Read more
