True to its tagline! Delighting you always!

Pros: Excellent photos, LCD screen, SD memory card
Cons: No battery life indicator
Opinion:
Since I was in highschool, I really trust Canon. I don't know; I just simply love it! Not to put down Sony but really I only rely on Canon. My cousin has this camera (Sony) that has the same features with my IXUS 75 and he said that he wants my cam. "let's exchange", he joked. He added that his camera hangs! too bad! tsk.. tsk..
Oh yeah, the IXUS series is SD compatible. In short, any SD card is okay. (fyi, SD is a common memory card.) Like Sony in particular, it has a specific memory card.
One more thing, this is my review. Thus, it's my personal opinion. Nothing against Sony or to anyone directly or indirectly mentioned. Peace out, dude! :D
Great compact digital camera, nice design

Pros: Compact, fast response and recharge time, Excellent 3" inches vivid LCD display, very nice picture quality
Cons: Purple shadows on LCD, no battery status display.
Opinion:
It was definitely one of my best buy of electronic gadgets last year!.. Excellent quality both camera built and pictures taken. Fast response and excellent face recognition. Compact and fits your pocket but don't mix with your car keys!. The screen is absolutely fabulous, rich color and bright!. I compared with other similar Sony model and the ixus75 screen display the closest matching color (yellow is the best color for comparison, point both cameras to something in yellow color and you'll get the idea!) Only downside is no display of battery status. Have to recharge every time I use it for long outdoor shots. (just in case it went dead!)
Nice camera!

Pros: excellent picture, easy to just snap away
Cons: no battery monitor, no internal memory, purple light on LCD
Opinion:
Overall a good and easy to use camera. It took me a while to decide whether to choose b/w a Sony Cybershot and the IXUS 75. Despite falling behind Sony by not having the battery monitor and no internal memory, the thing that won me over was probably the design of the body, button placement, and the life-like color quality (supposedly Sony adds more color to make the picture more vivid).
is there any anti-shake for ixus75 ?

Jul 3, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: huge + clear LCD, lightweight, slim
Cons: purple shadows on LCD when capturing under sunny conditions, no battery monitor
Opinion:
in my opinion, i think this probably is 1 of the best cameras in the mkt, considering its price. this the 2nd camera i've had after the konica minolta 1, 3.2MP with 3X zoom.. that doesn't really pose me any problem besides the horrid batt life which requires me to change the AA batts after like every 40 shots. this canon ixus 75 definitely boosts a much higher batt life! however, it definitely can do better with a battery monitor.
the pictures that r captured are clear n crisp (esp outdoors), however purple shadows start to appear when images r being captured under sunlight. pls note that it's only on the LCD when u try to aim, the pictures dat r captured, however, are perfectly fine! regarding this prob, i dropped an email at canon's helpdesk n voila! on the next working day, they gave me a call n started explaining it's a norm with any other cameras (not ...
