Well Priced Prosumer Camera

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Functions, Flash Shoe, Good quality pictures, Night Snapshot mode
Cons: Plastic housing for lens, wide angle lens(requires converter and adapter)
Opinion:
A good camera for budding enthusiasts that require more than a simple point and shoot camera.

A great Camera, well built & nevers misses a shot

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Stabilised Lense, good Low Light Performance, good features, well built and Compact
Cons: No Raw support - but not essential for a compact or point & shoot camera
Opinion:
Its a great camera on its own, don't compare it with its predecessors and SLRs. As a compact camera it produces great pictures and it has very useful features set, great stabilised Lense and it responds briskly. What else one needs from a compact camera !

Do it all - at a good price

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: video and still in a good price, small sized package
Cons: a little heavy for pocket
Opinion:
Finally got a good deal on video cum still at 10 MPixel res. SO easy even children can use it, but if you have the time, the professional features are suitable to highly demanding profesional work also. and fits the pocket both in size and price!

Need to correct info in CNET review

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Face detection and optics
Cons: None unless you need movable LCD or RAW
Opinion:
Although I had to select a rating to post this message, I simply wanted to point out an error in the specs mentioned within this review. The CNET Asia review states: "...we were disappointed that the 6x optical zoom begins from 38mm (35mm equivalent) where it should have been a 28mm wide-angle lens..."
The Powershot G7 lens actually starts at 35mm, not 38mm.
