Feb 11, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Sharp image, fast respond, flash is very strong,
Cons: autofocus is very annoying, macro mode have a problem, plastic looks like cheap, anti-shake is not helpful
Opinion:
this camera is amazing! sony is perfectly adopt konica minolta into this camera. although is same with konica minolta previously, this camera is great. i have tried my camera under the rain (not heavy), and it's still working.I think this camera is good for amateur, although sony is still have a problem with a new SLR. i'm still loved now. try it.

Sep 6, 2006Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Good 10 mps sensor, anti shake , dust inhibitor, battery life ,easy use
Cons: Plasticky feel, some noise issues at ISO 1600
Opinion:
The plasticky feel disappears after some use when you begin to appreciate how flexible this camera can be.
The Function Knob and button on top of the camera gives instant access to primary aspects like ISO ,Flash etc Nice feature!
The built in Flash also deserves some praise as being quite powerful and intelligent.
Not too bad for an entry-level
Sep 3, 2006Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Affordable
Cons: Should have included a bigger bag for the 2k package with 2 lenses
Opinion:
Lots of accesories still not available at this juncture. With Sony's inclusion, consumers can only benefit from the already competitive DSLR market.
One bold move by Sony
Aug 22, 2006Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Ergonomically designed, sharp viewfinder
Cons: cheap plastic body
Opinion:
So why is the body made in Malaysia and the lenses made in China? The lenses aren't even labeled "Carl Zeiss" No thanks, I think I'll hold on to my My Cybershot DSC-R1 that's made in Japan. Lastly, does Sony actually think that it stands a chance against Canon's 30D?
