A good combination of manual and auto functions. Higly flexible for creativity and instant shoot

Cons: Faded monitor display at sunny out doors
Opinion:
An excellent machine to begin with and grow with and to learn to excell in digital photgraphy.
Good pics easy to use / controls make sense

Pros: Can be a point and shoot as well as something more.
Cons: fairly big/screen washs out in sunlight
Opinion:
A good basic package that can grow with a user.Adaptable language setting useful and picture controls make it a good traveler Good access to Canon website.
