Pros: scenes mode,macro mode,flash control,manual overides
Cons: does not print date on front of photolcd invisable in bright light
Opinion:
i was attracted to this digicam because it had a hot shoe. When the aauxilary flash is added you double the flash range from 12 to 24 feet...The camera is very easy to hold. it can accomidate 2 auxilary lens via a tube attachment using 34mm auxilary lens.
a wide angle attachment stretching from 38mm down to about 32mm and a Telephoto auxilary adding about 3x ti akready built in 3x optical zoom.. There is no anti shake
feature,which is only noticeable w/o flash. fill in flash is useful because the amount of light from the flash is controlled,so white out usually is not a problem . The camera embues confidence in its user, because of its workman like and ease of use major controls. Using it in the dark, would require a little pocket flash light to set the right modes. At last a true compact with a hotshoe, plenty of pixels, AA batteries, RAW file, auxiliary lenses. Pity the lens spec is so average... want to see how the images stack up. This could be a great backup camera.
