What a nice little camera

Opinion:
Having not had a camera for about 10 years, this is a lovely reminder of how technology has moved on. Was out in a bar last night and it was no bigger than a phone to carry round. Great as at least I'll use it! Love the internal lens as no worries about busting a extending zoom mech. Pic quality was slightly disappointing & agree that it could do with a no-shake function for photos. Love it :)
Pros and cons of digimaxi5

It's true, this i5 can be considered. Yes, the battery life is average, but the camera comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, so it shouldn't be a big problem. They gave you 2 kinds of chargers, so you don't have to use the dock when charging if you don't want. After using for about 10 minutes you can feel it's a bit warm, but it's normal for stainless steel made one. The disappointing thing is the camera is not built with image stabilizer like Casio/Panasonic. The result will be better if you use flash or tripod to avoid the shaking hands, but I truly say no camera is really perfect!

I just bought digimax i5 a few days ago. It's pretty good and worth to buy if you are a first-time digicam user, knowing not much about camera features and looking for a stylish camera. Since the camera comes with 256MB memory card, good-looking strap and the pouch as well, I can say it's worth to buy, not forgetting about the big and well-resolution LCD. The object through the 2.5" LCD is very clear and sharp, the features on this camera are almost complete, too. Since the technology grows damn fast, I encourage you guys to buy something that suits you (don't think too much about the future evolution because in the future, sure we can find better one). So why do we have to buy something expensive now when all the features can be found in the digimax i5? One advice, never invest something very exp on gadgets because they'll be outdated soon. Talking about the quality, it's average ... Read more
