The good: 7x optical zoom; intuitive scroll wheel operation; decent performance.

The bad: Lacks wide-angle lens and HD video-recording function; average image quality.

The bottom line: The Coolpix S630's strongest selling point would be its 7x optical zoom and decent performance. Other than that, we found its features to be pretty typical of average point-and-shoots.

Seriously i really dun understand y nikon can create such fantastic DSLR but not for their compact?
