The good: Backlit buttons; effective sensor-shift image stabilizer; good color reproduction; Beauty mode is quirky but works well; smaller than other cameras in the same class.

The bad: Lacks HD-quality movie recording; no manual exposure mode; unsatisfying image quality; slow focusing.

The bottom line: The Mju 9000's lack of features puts it as at a disadvantage when compared with other shooters in its class, but it is still suitable for amateur shutterbugs who don't need control over their shots.
