View score

The good: First-rate performance; solid, well-constructed body with nice viewfinder; video capture capability; great photo quality.

The bad: Middling kit lens; poor HDMI output implementation.

The bottom line: Like the D80 before it, the Nikon D90 delivers an excellent dSLR for the money.

My dream came true

Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: all the features I need, ease of use and video!
Cons: let me think.....
Opinion:
I kept telling my friends that DSLR with video will arrive soon. It came and its with my favourite brand - Nikon - since 1985. If there were auto-focusing in video but requires more energy and bigger size - PLEASE DO IT! I am already carrying a brick around, might as well make it worth while! Just bring more batteries!

great one !

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: everything is so very GREAT, except one thing, see below..
Cons: PLASTIC BODY !!
Opinion:
own it for mths, love it!
but the plastic body .. sigh ..

I love my D90

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: All in one gadget. No need to bring a video camera especially when traveling.
Cons: Video could have been better with auto focus selection.
Opinion:
I have a Nikon D50 before and when I travel I also have a video cam. When I bought my D90 I don't need to bring my video camera anymore.
