The good: 7x optical zoom; compact form factor; easy operation.

The bad: Laggy menu interface; lacks wide-angle optics; image quality not up to standard.

The bottom line: The Mju 1060 will probably win some people over with its long zoom lens and small footprint. But if you are fussy about image quality, then this Olympus may not be that suitable.

Love my mjs 1060

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Monster bang for the buck
Cons: Some shutter lag in low light situations
Opinion:
This camera only cost me 22,800 jpy from Sakuraya. I also got the 20% point value which amounted to 4500 jpy. So it was a good bargain considering all the features that this camera entails. One of the biggest reasons why I liked this camera so much is it`s size. If you compare it to other cameras that have similar features, you will probably find that they are somewhat larger. If you`re on the go like I am, you don`t want something bulky and unsightly. When going out to visit friends for dinner or just generally having a fun night out on the town, the last thing you want is some monster camera you have to strap around your neck. This thing fits well in your pocket, and is easy to carry, and yet it still rivals other more expensive and larger cameras. Olympus kicked some ass with this one.
