The bad: 2.5-inch LCD, faux Manual mode.
The bottom line: Despite its shortcomings, the Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS still packs features that define it as a worthy shooter in the IXUS lineup.

Dec 25, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Stylish, affordable and good pic quality
Cons: Nil
Opinion:
User friendly, affordable, stylish, good design (black area around the lens) and outstanding picture quality.
Outdoor at night - with little light: pic quality is one of the best, with or without flash.
A suitable camera for a rookie like me.
Good true to life picture, not like digitize picture

Jun 2, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: custom WB, solid constuction, vivid colors, great battery life
Cons: lack of a full feature manual
Opinion:
OWned it for a year and it continues to provide great results. If i am not on a shoot, i will carry this over my DSLR. I would buy it again. Canon continues to excel in this area of the market.
