The Best Budget DSLR
Dec 20, 2008Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Live View, Super Steady Shot, Swivel LCD
Cons: null
Opinion:
Unlike canon which uses the special IS lenses and Nikon with their VR lenses, which would be costly, the Alpha lens are considerably cheap cause you can use any lenses thanks to the Super Steady Shot (SSS) inside the body, you can minimise the effect of camera shake. In addition, you can still use the old Konica-Minolta lenses with the Alpha.
I've tried several camera from Canon and Nikon, the Auto Focus from these cameras are slow compared to the Alpha. Plus, you have to keep pushing a button on the Canon 450d in order to keep focusing and lock-on the subject.
