CNET Asia Review
7.2
out of 10View score
The bad: Kit lens could be better; mixed performance; small viewfinder; interface annoyances.
The bottom line: Unless you're prepared to spend a disproportionate amount of money on a really good lens, the resolution bump offered by the Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 isn't worth the price.

Great DSLR
Jan 6, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Live view on LCD, Tiltable LCD, Quick autofocus, Good feel, Easy interface, Reasonable price
Cons: No Face Detection
Opinion:
Great camera for a non-professional like me who has shifted from the point and shoot to DSLR camera. The conversion was made relatively easy with its live view technology. The adjustable LCD gives options of capturing images from different angles (shoot from hip level etc.). This camera also captures clear, natural and sharp images with its 14.1 pixel sensors. At times you may need to adjust the exposure to overcome lighting conditions but it is part of the fun and it is quite easy with the exposure button located on the body. I would have given 10/10 if this camera had incorporated the face detection technology.
