The bad: No wide-angle lens, lacks HD video capture; uses proprietary xD-Picture Card format.
The bottom line: The Mju 1010 will satisfy most shooters with its speedy response, fine image quality and friendly features, but the package would be more complete if it came with a wide-angle lens.

Feb 26, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Solid feel, ease of use and small size.
Cons: The manual is a shocker, no optical view finder.
Opinion:
I'll preface by saying that I haven't done a lot with the camera yet, and when I do it will mainly be point and click.
I opened the box and managed to set the camera up, without referring to the manual, within 5 minutes, always a positive. I then took some pictures around the house which all look pretty good. Next I plugged it into my MacBook Pro, without loading any of Olympus's software, and a minute later all my photo's were in iPhoto. It's all good, except that bloody manual. These guys really have to learn to write easy to read manuals.
