The good: The Pentax has a 7x optical zoom lens; cute sliding lens cover design.

The bad: Slow between shots; no optical or sensor-shift image stabilization.

The bottom line: Pentax's Optio Z10 isn't quite as nice as the company's Optio S10, but its attractive price helps make up for its quirks and modest feature set.

quick,fun to use, decent snaps, amazing compactness,good MP count

Pros: fast, doesn't miss many photo ops,clean shots,decent resolution,safe lens keeper
Cons: missing lots of complex menues and modes found in DSLR's- so what..
Opinion:
easy to use, and fast on the up keep--fun shooting.light falll off w/ flash after 12 feet. fill in flash works reasl well- gave this digicam to my wife for her Birthday , she is not a CAMERA person, but takes good photos when the opportunity arrises- nice composional skills- she has used the Optio Z-10 twicwe. A wedding in a darkened hall and a field trip ,just looking for scene scapes- she really got some interesting results- lots of ERASING ,but none the less lots of KEEPERS. hal5141
