Pros: Slim, Light, Beautiful Design
Cons: Weak Battery Life, Menu system gets confusing
Opinion:
Pictures are great in day light
Indoor pictures in dim situations produce a lot of graininess.
It does the job as a backup camera for quick snapshots.
Easily fits in my "Tourist" pouch.
Smile detection requires I smile with all my teeth showing. A Mona Lisa Smile doesn't always get it to shoot.
Menu system is easy and organized. Presets gets the job done quickly.
Try to avoid viewing pictures before your trip ends, you'll end up running out of batteries.
If you want an all-day trip, it would be safe to have a total of 3 batteries.
This one is lighter that the 3 inch touch screen model and less expensive.
A good choice for your first digicam

However, the picture quality does feel somewhat disappointing at times. Night shots are poor and the steady shot doesn't work well. Battery life isn't very good if you do a lot of editing of your pics on the camera (yes you can do some simple stuff much like what you can do on those neo-print machines) and also due to the use of the touchscreen as a method of input. ...
