The bad: Modest feature set; artifacts and moiré detract from otherwise nice images.
The bottom line: The DMC-FX10 is a solid, well-priced compact camera that should satisfy most snapshooters.

a good compact camera to accompany your dslr
Jul 27, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: image stabilizer, light & compact, simple menu
Cons: none yet
Opinion:
i'm using fx10 as my sketch paper. taking many pictures, learn them, and return back with dslr the next day. i have no complain with this "basic" digital camera; it's light, compact, using very simple menu to operate, catching good enough natural colors, and saturation is okay though there are some downsides when taking pics with higher iso. it's also cheap .. a good point for skecth paper.
