CNET Asia Review
Good
The good: Optical image stabilization; large LCD; solid build quality. 6.6
out of 10View score
The bad: Mediocre photo quality; some controls too small.
The bottom line: A decent camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 is held back by less-than-decent photo quality.

too simple to use (i.e. idiot proof)
Nov 15, 2007Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: 3 inch screen, too auto, joystick, quite portable lah...
Cons: heavy, battery drain off to fast, blur picture at night and while zooming without flash, GRAINY PICTURE, no face detection
Opinion:
nice picture but too much noise. NICE 3 inch screen. if panasonic could take back the FX 50 and relpace FX 55 for me, i will be grateful as fx 55 is virtually better than fx 50. sigh...:(
handy big screen camera
