The bad: Disappointing photo quality; tiny screen.
The bottom line: The Canon PowerShot A430 is a decent, dirt-cheap camera with nice features, but the photos could look better.

good reliable camera!
Apr 30, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: easy to operate, small with great features, can do its job
Cons: small screen, slow flash recycle
Opinion:
i love this camera!
it can take wonderful pictures without the hassle of bulky bodies and heavy lenses. i took a picture with it and passed it to a photography seminar i was attending, the director thought i used an SLR!
image quality is great for a 4MP camera but blowing up prints to 8x10, the image quality will be horrible.
the only thing is, even with a fully charged battery, the flash recycling time is so slow. other than that, a good camera to have!!
Laggy
Dec 27, 2006Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: cheap
Cons: laggy to shot
Opinion:
Just bought one for a friend. Image quality is not bad, but the camera takes more than 5 seconds to be read for the next shot! It is really disappointing.
