CNET Asia Review
Good
The good: Compact; easy operation; decent image quality. 6.8
out of 10View score
The bad: Feels flimsy; noisy at high ISO; few scene modes or manual controls.
The bottom line: It's not very flexible, and it's not for low light shots, but the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W50 is still a solid compact camera.

Affordable with good features
Dec 21, 2006Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Slim, easy to use and clear day shots
Cons: Not as good for night shots
Opinion:
Got this cam from Sony Gallery around end Nov. Paid a bit more to obtain an additional 512MB MS Pro Duo on top of the supplied 256MB card. The batt life is prettry decent & the video quality is good too. I like its intuitive menu which summarises the various shooting modes. If possible, go for the classy black over the quite conventional silver body.
Sleek and Sexy!

Pros: very well built, good picture quality and definitely a good deal
Cons: Not too powerful flash
Opinion:
I just bought this camera yesterday in trade of my Canon IXUS 500.This camera is solid and light and has all the features for taking regular lifestyle pictures. The camera is quick between shots and the picture is definitely good compared to many digicams in this class.
