The good: Solid feel; large 3-inch LCD; maximum selectable ISO 1,600.

The bad: No focus-assist lamp; familiarization needed for new button arrangement; less than satisfactory indoor images.

The bottom line: The FinePix V10 is a decent compact-sized shooter with a large LCD monitor once you scale the learning curve of the unit.
