great for fieldwork

Pros: fell into the Malacca Straits with me and was still in superb working condition

Opinion:
On a recent fieldwork trip to Malacca to study the Portuguese Eurasian fishermen and their Christian families, I went out on a boat trip and took some photographs. The water was rough, and the small 21 foot canoe was rocking with the waves. I felt something bite my leg, probably one of the crabs or king prawn in the boat. I yelled and fell off. The Ixus fell with me into the water. Thankfully, I had the presence of mind to force it out of the water above my head as I kicked to the surface. And my precious cargo was saved. I would advise anyone to get a water proof P&S when likely to fall off a kayak. Dr Antonio L Rappa

Great Picture Quality

Pros: amazing picture quality, easy to learn features, very user friendly
Cons: you spend the money that you do, and you don't recieve a case for the camera.

of all digital cameras i've handled, this one is by far the most manageable to handle plus its features best fit my needs
