Mediocre

4.6

out of 10

View score

The good: Simple operation; budget price; internal memory saves 30 high-quality shots.

The bad: No manual controls and few scene modes; slow autofocus; LCD difficult to view in bright light; motion-picture clips limited to 320 x 240 at 15fps with no sound; no burst mode; no optical viewfinder.

The bottom line: The Olympus FE-100, the least-expensive model in the FE series, lowers the bar on features but still has acceptable image quality for a 4-megapixel entry-level shooter.

Great Camera!!! Does What Novices wants, to capture brilliant images!

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Good Image Quality, Superb Macro Shots, Lightweight and compact, easy to use
Cons: limited settings, lacks optical viewfinder,2.8x zoom,AF assist light... but price tells why
Opinion:
Just used those best cameras like sony, canon and this olympus. and i can say all of them were excellent!!! but what makes this score great is the quality of the macro shots. highly detailed and very sharp as i can describe those images taken. but the limited settings for manual calibration will not suit those who know better in photography. but i recomend this to all novice casual shooters. it's very easy to use and has nice looks. and the price is really eye catching as far as it's an Olympus. one of the best imaging companies...
