CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Sleek design; one megapixel more superior than the previous FX8; large high-resolution (207k pixels) 2.5-inch LCD; two new scene modes. 8
out of 10View score
The bad: No manual aperture or shutter speed control; tendency to accidentally press buttons with the thumb; no zoom function during movie recording.
The bottom line: The FX9 is a more promising upgrade if you haven't had the FX8 yet. Be prepared to fork out extra money for a high-speed, high-capacity memory card and an additional battery if you intend to shoot lots.

May 3, 2006Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: menu is simple, very good image quality
Cons: 3x zoom too small, no manual control, expensive
Opinion:
Crisp videos at 30fps and sharp well defined images. Night photos are excellent and antishake works really well. Bigger zoom and manual control would make it a perfect camera. Overall very impressive. Better photos than my sisters fujif10/ixus55 cameras.
Good camera!
