The bad: Complicated menus; low-res movie mode; some problems with colour fidelity.
The bottom line: With its distinctive off-white fascia, elegant styling and ergonomic design, the IR-300 is an easy camera to like. However, the complicated menu system, disappointing movie mode and occasional problems with colour fidelity mean you can do better elsewhere.

very lowsy
Oct 25, 2007Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: outdoor shots are great
Cons: shots taken indoor are horrible and videos are extremely grainy.
Opinion:
in the market there are cameras about the same price yet 10x better. IR-300 performance is not good, might as well consider other models.
pretty & user frenly camera for amateur photographers

Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Video resolution not that good
Opinion:
This is my 2nd Olympus digicam and I must say that I am totally satisfied user. It's very easy to use and the images taken are very clear with the default settings. Menu is very easy to navigate, similar to my previous Oly. It didn't take much time to get used to it, even without the help of the manual. Flash recharged very quickly so there is not much wait in between shots. Excellent piece of equipment from Oly!
