The good: Reasonable image quality; improved feature set over the Photosmart 850; in-camera Digital Flash image processing function; diopter; 8x optical zoom.

The bad: Lack of a full manual creative option; no hotshoe; image quality does not improve over its predecessor.

The bottom line: A camera that'll not quite please avid shutterbugs, but offer a tad too much for normal point-and-shoot users.
