The bad: Sacrifices some controls; can select only partial metering mode--automatically decides evaluative and center-weighted; similar limitations apply to focus tracking; viewfinder does not show 100 percent; inherits some of the quirks of the 10D.
The bottom line: Despite some of its limitations, the EOS 300D retains the responsiveness and performance of the EOS 10D, with a price tag that will be hard to beat!
