The bad: Relatively small LCD; CompactFlash compartment has a flimsy-feeling cover.
The bottom line: A great mainstream camera for snapshooters who want room to grow creatively.

Good Choice indeed
Jul 16, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Beautiful Images
Cons: Flaw in design
Opinion:
4 megapixels in a 1/1.8" CCD gives you images that are alive. Clear and sharp. Excellent colours. Fine noise at ISO 400 which is tolerable. See for yourself. You won't need another 8 or 12 megapixels digicam.
Uses AA batteries.
However, LCD screen too small. Memory slot cover very flimsy. Rating of 9 because of this flaw. (Otherwise it deserves a 10)
Foolish move by Canon if this camera is to be phased out.
