The good: The weight; good interface--easy to adapt to; bright lenses; splash-proof body and lenses; hybrid white balance; reasonably good RAW processing software; addresses the issue of dust on sensors.

The bad: AF performance varies drastically with lenses; high ISO speeds result in noticeable image noise; lack of a built-in Speedlite; a lack of choice for lenses currently.

The bottom line: The Olympus E-1 takes another step forward in the evolutionary path towards pure digital photography.
