The bad: Small optical viewfinder; LCD doesn't work as a viewfinder.
The bottom line: Although it carries a high price tag for the consumer digicam world, this responsive, high-quality camera is the most affordable digital SLR currently available.

Value for money in durability & performance.
Dec 16, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: A true work horse & a good performer any time!
Cons: It;s 6 mps is some what outdated.
Opinion:
I still rely on this camera and more durable than any nikon mount digital camera offered by other manufacturer. Will continue to rely on its durability & performance and no regrets! Highly recommended to anyone if you do not mind
its 6.17 mps.
A true workhorse and even cheaper now

Opinion:
Still the best 6-megapixel digicam. Fast AF and fast 3fps drive. Quality and finish equal to none and very durable. Long battery life with/or without battery pack and capable of delivering quality pictures. Very
reliable and never fails. Comparing with newer models and megapixels, this camera stands in the crowd for proven reliability. It delivers the shots time and time again. I still rely on this camera to deliver my shots. It's even cheaper and value for money. Look no further, it is still the best from Nikon.
