The bad: Batteries mysteriously drains when left in camera; chunky design; LCD display not visible in low light; poor focusing in low light
The bottom line: One of the best value 2-megapixel, 3x optical zoom digital cameras you can find for under S$700 (US$384).

My wife and I have had our Fujifilm Finepix 2600 for about three years now and never have we had a problem. The picture quality is SUPERB even after at least 15,000 pictures have been taken with it. We took it on our honeymoon in the Virgin Islands and took over 1,000 photos in three weeks. It's user-friendly, the software works with Windows XP, it's rugged (we've dropped it a couple times!) and extra memory cards are really cheap. Even the battery life is decent though I would recommend rechargeable batteries.
