Printing monastery at Derge, Sichuan
Derge is the cultural heart of the Kham region in Tibet, which currently, has been absorbed into Sichuan, China. The xylograph collection in this monastery is considered the most eclectic in the world. The scene depicts the washing of the red xylograph after the printing process.
