Pros: sharpness of photos, good userbility
Cons: thickness, noise especially when zooming in
Opinion:
got this camera in the beginning of the year. has all the functions of a digital camera, which allows beginners to have fun and take quite good photos.

it has a lot of other functions too, such as the children, fireworks, text, close-up, landscape and much more. the advanced shake reduction helps too. however, you really need to know the right timing to shoot a sharp picture if not it will turn out to be quite blur.

however, if you want to have more functions, such as the focus function, it is not very good even with the multi focus function. somehow, the focus region is not on the item or person that you want to focus on.

the manual mode allows you to play around with the aperture and the shutter speed. but you must really know your stuff well before you play around with it as your photos may end up being under exposed or overexposed. and when you zoom in, the aperture actually increases.

if you want to upgrade your skills to take amazing photos like those taken using DSLR, this camera will be a big disappointement as it does not contain much of those functions.

another thing is that you will have difficulty finding the way to switch on the sports mode. even till now, after trying for so long, i still do not know how to switch it on.

the ASR function does not work that well too, especially if the flash is not switched on. and the night mode takes some time to process and capture the scene, which makes taking photos quite difficult as you have to hold your breath and be still until it finish processing. otherwise, the photo will come out very blur.

overall, it's a fine camera that takes fine photos. a very good camera to have especially if you don't ask much and just want to take reasonably nice photos.
