Very impressive compact camera

Opinion:
I am first attracted to this camera after I read several different camera reviews over the net, and I changed my IXUS 75 to this one, IXUS 860 IS. This camera is surely a better camera than IXUS 75. It has a compact solid elegant body in an eye-catching silver and black colour tones. Its 3.8x optical zoom is so fast and smooth and goes until 15x with digital zoom combined. Its optical image stabilizer is so effective even for a shaky capture moments and to a shake-sensitive telephoto shots. But this image stabilizer is only effective under proper lighting conditions when the shutter speed won't go slower than 1/60 seconds, common to most point-and-shoot models. Its High ISO noises on photos when using ISO 1600 are now more reduced than the previous models. I like its 28mm wide-angle lens, a very flexible lens specially for capturing a wide area of subject or in groups. Its 3-inch LCD screen is very nice, big, clear, and well-pleasing for the eyes. Canon also adds some remarkable features into this unit such as the battery indicator, video Long Play, focus precision, and on-camera image resize function that makes this so user-friendly camera. There's no perfect compact camera, but overall, the most important part, the image quality that this fast-responding camera produces is very nearly accurate, colourful, dynamic, and all-natural that impresses me a lot. It intelligently detects multiple faces and adjusts different settings on them almost correctly not sacrificing the beauty of human faces in different situations. I have no other comments on this camera aside from its being chubby, no optical viewfinder, and not comfortable to shoot with one hand. I highly recommend this Canon IXUS 860 IS to anyone who wants a money-worth compact camera upgrade. Smile! *Click*
