Has this camera even been released in the UK yet? It was supoosed to be on the streets by August yet I can't find a peep about it anywhere.

hi weng meng,

the image quality on the NV100HD isn't poor, but compared to other shooters with similar specs, it is softer and holds lesser details. on its own, as you can see from the image quality page's iso comparison chart, images are useable up to ISO 400 if you are not fussy. everyone has different tolerance of digital noise in images, so it's better if you head to the store, snap a few shots with the camera and then make a final decision. happy shopping and shooting!
