My question is, how do you intend to test it? Simply checking if the camera takes pictures? If that's the case, you can just borrow a CF card from anyone, or go to a shop, be nice, and tell them you just want to know if your 350D is a working set.But if you are going to test for more things like lens focusing, or dust on image sensor etc, you'd need to have the luxury of transferring out the images. If that's the case, you probably should just buy a CF card on the streets. A 512MB card would be more than sufficient.

I just have a question for you, why in the world are you traveling with a digital camera (a dSLR even) without a memory card? And if that's the case, why are you taking the camera along? For that matter, how much on board memory did you think the camera had (if it had any)?Go get a 1GB CF card, it's cheap, compared to your camera. But if you didn't intend to take photos on your travels, why bother testing your camera in the first place?
