And the winners for Notebooks are:

HP Mini 1000
The good: Best Netbook keyboard we've seen; thinner and lighter than HP's previous Netbook; ditches slow Via processor for faster Intel Atom.
The bad: Limited expansion options; overly glossy screen; needless proprietary external drive connection.
The bottom line: HP may have arrived late to the consumer Netbook game, but by lifting the generous keyboard from last year's business-oriented model, the Mini 1000 easily joins the category's top tier.

Asus Eee PC 901
The good: Excellent battery life; spiffy performance; multitouch touchpad; solid state storage; Draft-N wireless radio and Bluetooth; built-in CPU overclocking/underclocking application.
The bad: Keyboard still hard to use; a little more hefty than the Eee PC 900; glossy finish attracts fingerprints.
The bottom line: With an excellent battery life and spiffy performance, the Eee PC 901 has matured into an exceptional Netbook capable of all-day computing.

The good: Excellent keyboard; large screen; affordable; ExpressCard slot; OneKey Rescue system.
The bad: Solid-state drive not available; no HSDPA option; below-average battery life.
The bottom line: With its easy recovery system, low price and generous keyboard, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 easily sits in front of the 10-inch Netbook pack.
