The Prada Phone by LG 3.0 is the third device from the partnership of Korean chaebol LG and fashion house Prada. Announced last year, the Android smartphone fuses LG's hardware expertise together with Prada's design aesthetics.

The Prada Phone packs a dual-core 1GHz processor (the same chipset as the LG Optimus 3D), a 4.3-inch Nova display, an 8-megapixel camera as well as 8GB onboard storage.

While there is no release date set yet, you can pre-order the handset starting from this Saturday (January 7) through the three Singapore carriers. Details will be made available on their Web sites. Availability for the rest of Asia has not been announced.

Early birds will get a limited edition Prada-branded phone cradle worth S$228 (US176), though stocks are limited. If you choose not to tie yourself down with a contract, LG will be holding a special one-day sale on January 21 at its flagship store at Marina Bay Sands. The Prada phone will cost $1,088 without a contract and will also come with the cradle.
