The Chobi Mini Digital Camera is small, but we got something that can rival it. Scroll below to see it. (Credit: GeekStuff4U)
The miniaturization of point-and-shoots sparked a frenzy among camera manufacturers a few years ago, with companies pitting against each other to see which one could dish out the smallest digicam. Well, I think we have a clear winner today.
Despite its petite structure, this snapper boasts functions that put it almost on par with cameras from big brands. The Chobi point-and-shoot captures images at 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and record videos at 1,280 x 960 resolution, which is considered high-definition by industry standards. Storage is in the form of microSDHC cards.
And guess what? We dug through stacks of cameras and found out that Canon has its own variation! Here's the proof in a picture.
This, my friend, is Canon's smallest compact ever. Ok we lied. It's a USB drive. (Credit: Leonard Goh/CNET Asia)
Ok, so that was just a USB drive we got at a Canon press event, but we measured it and it's about the same size as the Chobi Mini Digital Camera.
If you're interested, the Chobi can be had for about US$148.

@muathaz : You see the picture but, obviously you didn't bother to read the caption and the paragraph below the picture. The blue Canon Digicam is just a USB drive that CNET got from Canon press event. It's not a digicam...
whats the name for canon's smallest digi cam?And what about price?its very stylish and it have the 12.1 megapixels camera.if anybody knows send me at muathazm@gmail.com.
Worries might be for this 'small' camera. Misplace it, trouble looking for it. More like PI camera. Max storage?
It surely fit the name. Chobi means small or little in japanese. And this digicam is tiny indeed. It's so cute. I wonder whether it comes with various color choice or just that simple black?
