Follow the trail of photos as they show you how a Zero Energy Building comes about.
Launched on October 26, 2009, Singapore's first Zero Energy Building (ZEB) is also Southeast Asia's first. The flagship R&D project by the Building & Construction Authority (BCA) is intended to save an estimated S$84,000 a year in power consumption compared with a standard office in Singapore, through the use of green building technologies. It's also expected to produce as much electricity as it uses.
