Panasonic Lumix G1 pre-production sample shots

We had a quick hands-on with the world's first Micro Four Thirds camera and brought back some sample images taken with it.

The Lumix DMC-G1 is the world's first camera to utilize the Micro Four Thirds standard, and Panasonic told CNET Asia that this will be available globally from November. Retail price is set at S$1,199 and the package will come with the 14mm-45mm F3.5-5.6 Mega O.I.S. kit lens. We took the camera for a ride onboard the Singapore Flyer. Over the next few pages you will see sample shots taken with the pre-production unit we had with us. Despite this being a non-commercial set, we felt the image quality is good enough to be shown here. We are expecting even better pictures when we get the final review unit.
