One of the most visible areas of the new museum is its 90-foot-diameter dome housing a major rainforest exhibit. There are bat caves from Borneo, rainforests from Costa Rica, the Amazon, Borneo, and Madagascar, as well as geckos, chameleons, butterflies, and tropical birds inside. Here, the rainforest is seen from far underneath and through the waters of the museum's aquarium, in which swim several species of fish.
