The Texas-based Vectrix offers a two-wheel electric vehicle that does 0-50mph in 6.8 seconds. The company calls it the Maxi-Scooter, but with a top speed of 62mph, in the US you'll need a motorcycle license to ride it. Marketed toward the city driver, the Max-Scooter has a patented regenerative braking system to help drivers quickly stop.
