Lithium Sulfur rechargeable battery:
First it was Lithium-ion, then came Lithium-polymer, now the latest in battery technology is Lithium sulfur. According to the manufacturer Sion Power, Lithium sulfur batteries offer twice the battery life of Lithium-ion cells of the same volume. Shown here in the picture is a module of the Lithium sulfur battery, which can be used in portable devices like PDAs and digital cameras, or stacked in multiples for notebooks.
