Showcasing the drool-worthy

DVB-H and DVB-T add-on modules :Philips showcased its DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial) and DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld) add-on card modules for PDAs and notebooks at the Tech Showcase at IDF. Available in ExpressCard and SD card formats, the digital TV modules are expected to be available only in late 2006 or early 2007, depending on the content providers. According to the company spokesperson, the add-on cards supports TV recording and will be shipped with software drivers for optimized performance.
