Panasonic VT50 3D plasma TV.
Panasonic has just confirmed its 2012 TV lineup for Europe consisting of six plasma and six LED TV series. These panels are available from 19- to 65-inch screen sizes and feature either LED-lighting or plasma technologies. The company's 2012 smart TV platform, which now comes with a Web browser, has also received a new name. It is now called "Smart Viera" instead of Viera Connect. The latter used for Panasonic TVs released in 2011 and earlier.
Furthermore, the XT50-series Viera TVs are possibly the world's first passive 3D panels based on plasma display technology. They complement their ET5-series LED equivalents announced during CES in January.
Here's an overview of the full lineup.
