Building on the success of the S51c and S51, Nikon is introducing the successors to these two models. Bumping up the image resolution from 8 to 9 megapixels, the S52c and S52 also have a maximum ISO sensitivity of 3,200, twice that of their predecessor. The main difference between these two new units is the Wi-Fi feature built into the S52c. With the S52c, you can upload images directly from the camera to Nikon's image storing/sharing site, my Picturetown, from a wireless hotspot.
The P80 and S52 will be available by end April in Asia Pacific, while the S52C will be on shelves only in mid-May. Pricing for these cameras were not available at press time, but keep a lookout on this space as we will update the information once we have it.
